Safety shoe with low but comfortably padded upper, slightly sloping back to avoid pressure on the Achilles tendon. The leather strap above the heel provides more stability in the heel area. The easily movable lacing with lateral deep-draw clamping hooks provides for comfortable tightening of the laces and safe hold and good fixation of the foot in the shoe. A soft cuff at the shaft end completes the very good wearing comfort. The resistant mountain cowhide leather and the overall low seam workmanship (no side seams) make this shoe an extremely robust safety shoe. A hand-wound rubber belt as weather protection and a rubber overcap provide additional protection and durability. A KEVLAR insole, which is lighter and more flexible than steel soles, ensures penetration safety.
The antistatic, oil-, gasoline- and acid-resistant sole not only protects the wearer but also provides excellent grip and support, even on loose surfaces. GORE-TEX makes this shoe waterproof, breathable and thermally insulating.
